Build and program a self-replicating swarm of droids, in a vast solar system full of minerals and danger!
Each droid runs a program that you create in a visual scripting language, with hundreds of different droids working together to automate the industrialisation of space.
🤖 Program your droids to gather resources from asteroid belts
🌏 Terraform planets and lunar surfaces
🏭 Use a range of automated factory equipment to expand your operation
👾 Fend off attacks from rogue robots and strange alien creatures
Controls
WASD / Arrow keys - Move camera around
- QE / Mouse wheel - Zoom in and out
- HOME - Select mothership
- ESC - Main menu
Save Data The game places all save data and config files here: C:\Users\******\AppData\Local\Introversion\SpaceBots
About this game
I created this prototype for Introversion Software, but we never released it. It is obviously all placeholder art and no sound or music. It is completely unfinished and will most likely never be finished! It is provided here, free and unsupported, for those who are curious. I would love to hear your thoughts!

What programming language is this in? i'd help but i'm new to coding and only know c#, no time to learn another one (even if its similar).
Is there a github repo with the code in it so we can submit PRs?
This would be a fun Community Supported game to continue to develop.
If enough people were interested, I'd certainly consider that!
Really cool so far! I'm looking forward to the progress of this, it has some great potential.
Would love if the scroll to zoom had some momentum added so it went faster the quicker you scrolled!
Other than that, solid gameplay, I'm finishing up the tutorial now
